The CARES Act has many helpful provisions for small businesses, which the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship details in this helpful guide. The CARES Act also expanded eligibility requirements for disaster relief loans from the SBA to make it easier for small businesses to access the funds they need to stay afloat.
The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting nearly every aspect of our lives and will be remembered as a pivotal time in history. Like any other event that impacts the world, we don’t know what the future will be like, but we do know that the old ways we lived and worked have been disrupted in ways we cannot quite fathom.
Some Good News: The U.S. Small Business Association will restart the government coronavirus relief loan program for small businesses on April 27, 2020. There is now an additional $320 billion available. The first round of funding ran out in just under two weeks.
